Biggest Takoyaki in the Netherlands!!

Japanese traditional sweets!!

What is Takoyaki?

Takoyaki is the most popular street food in Japan! It is local dish originated in Osaka eaten at summer festivals and markets, or to make with friends and family at home parties. Takoyaki in Japanese means TAKO = OCTOPUS / YAKI = PAN-FRYING Takoyaki batter is made from flour, eggs and fish stock, and is filled with boiled and diced octopus, spring onions, cabbage, red pickled ginger, tempura scraps and other ingredients. The batter is then cooked on a specially made brons Takoyaki plate, turning it round and round, crispy on the surface and soft and creamy on the inside. The standard topping is takoyaki-sauce, mayonnaise, aonori (dried green seaweed) and dried bonito flakes, but please give it a try different topping to find your favorit! Its appearance is very similar to poffertjes, but the filling is different from pancakes and poffertjes, as it has fish stock and octopus flavour. Perfect for lunch or when you're hungry! *We serve them freshly cooked and hot as much as possible, so please take care not to burn yourself.
